Maternity Pants
At what point did you need to start wearing maternity pants?
I haven’t gained any weight, but things have definitely shifted. Even my comfy pants don’t feel comfy anymore. I’m not quite 7 weeks! I don’t want to waste money on maternity pants now if I’m just going to need bigger ones later…but seriously, when do you need to start shopping for different pants?
It depends on your body. I know I went longer with my first baby before needing maternity clothes than I did with this baby. If things are getting tight, look into jeans or pants that are expandable. You can get them at places like Motherhood Maternity. Last time I was there they had an elastic band that you wore over your regular jeans (I think unbuttoned) and you could prolong how long before you had to buy maternity clothes. You can also find great early maternity clothes at the Gap. Even if you don’t wear them long, you might be able to wear them for awhile after the baby comes, since you won’t lose all the tummy overnight.

maternity pants?
im 17 weeks pregnant not showing that much but enough that my regular pants dont fit….i have maternity pants but the band at the top sits right across my belly button doesnt that mean its Squishing the baby?
Nope, bubba is safe in your belly. 
Try to get one that sit over or under your belly? The ones I found most comfortable where ones that sat right under my belly, they had like a V shape, downwards, so that it was just losely over the bottom of my belly, very comfortable!
