how to prepare peas for my homemade baby food?
i’m new to making my homemade baby food. i was about to make some peas, ive been using my blender…but the peas have the skin, so what do i do about that
I give my baby peas as well. I boil them until they soften then I blend it with some of the water I used to boil them with. I blend them long enough to make sure everything is smooth. That should be enough for your baby to swallow but just in case your baby chokes on the skin you can always pass it through a fine strainer/sieve but chances are they might not be choking on the skin, it might just be a gag-reflex for an infant who is just starting solids. If you want to be on the safe side, then pass it through a strainer.
