Baby Changing Pad

How do you change a baby in a public restroom that doesn’t have a changing station?
I haven’t run into this situation yet, but I’ve noticed different places I’ve gone that does not have a changing station. How should I change my baby if there is no changing station? I’d be really embarrassed if someone walked in to see me changing my baby on a changing pad on the floor!

Do not change your baby on the floor!! Those things are filthy and crawling with germs. I really even hate to use changing tables for the same reason, even with a blanket or paper towels laid on it. I usually change her right in her stroller if I have it with me or go out to my car.

Where can I find a 28-29 inch baby changing pad?
I bought a crib/changer combo but the changing pad that came with it is about 1/8 of an inch thick. I would a normal thick one but can not find one that is between 28-29 inches long that will fit our changer. Please somebody help us.
Try looking up a local seamstress in the yellow pages…I would imagine that they could make one for you rather quickly and inexpensively. You could even get it custom made with a fabric or slip cover that would match your nursery perfectly!
